This is one of my first mixed media experiments. I printed a picture of a building, adhered it to a panel, and then painted over it. I also used charcoal which blended with the paint in the sky. I like the hard edge which happens where the paper meets the sky.

The funny thing about this little painting is that it came very easily, yet seems more detailed than some of my other more abstract landscapes. -- Just one of those days when things just happen in a few exuberant strokes. If only it always happened that way!
Sunset over Rosslyn. I'm planning on doing more abstract cityscapes. This 8" x 8" on wood is my first. I like the way the paint moves on wood.
Yes, I went there -- a silly name! But it is really hilly! -- What can I say? Just having a little fun.
